B. Braun Indonesia Donates Medical Devices to COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Jakarta

B. Braun Indonesia distributed 10,000 items comprising infusion sets and syringes to the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Pondok Gede, Jakarta. The donation was made in collaboration with the EuroCham and delivery was done from B. Braun’s Jakarta warehouse directly to the hospital on July 14th, 2021. On hand to receive the donation was dr. H. Mukti Rahadian, MARS, MPH as the head of Bidang Analisis Lingkungan Strategis, Pusat Analisis Determinan, Minister of Health Indonesia.

The COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Pondok Gede Jakarta, also known as the Hajj Hostel, was converted to handle COVID-19 patients, by the Indonesia President, Mr. Joko Widodo, on July 10th, 2021. It has 900 isolation beds, 50 ICU’s, and 40 HCU’s. The facility was converted within five days with the support of Minister of Health and Minister of Public Works and Housing.
